Dinner on the Grounds & Keepers of the Faith

All day sing and dinner on the ground
Young folks, old folks are gatherin' around
Delicious is the meal and joyful is the sound
Of an all day sing and dinner on the ground

It's an old fashion notion and a new fashion day
People that are friendly and people that pray
Everybody's welcome and heaven's above
What's brought us all together is a thing called love

We're going on back to those good ol' days
When summer was forever and simple things amazed
The laughter of the children and the games on the grass
A voice that was whisperin' "this is what lasts"

Dark days may come hard times will too
Remember this day, it'll help you get through
And the first day of heaven is gonna astound
It's like an all day sing and dinner on the ground

"For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named,
That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man;
That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love,
 May be able to comprehend with all saints what [is] the breadth, and length, and depth, and height;
And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fullness of God.

Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,
Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen."
Ephesians 3:14-21

--Blessings--

"So happy for my sweet Callie. ♥ After 10 years of wanting a
horse of her own, she finally got "Nattie!" She's a gentle
and beautiful quarter-horse about 6 years. Callie has patiently
waited as we bought land, had a baby, built a house, built a
business, planted gardens, had another baby, built chicken pens,
built pig/goat pens, had another baby, fenced a large pasture
for cows.......finally got the horse pasture finished!! (thanks
to the girls and their dear Daddy!). Good things truly do come
to those who wait ~ and they come in God's timing ~ Praise the
Lord!"

Also, today, we got Poky, a 4 1/2 mo. old Charolais heifer. She was bottle fed, so she is really gentle--so sweet. :o)

Bok Tower

Bok Tower has always been one of our favorite places to spend a lovely afternoon. We have so many wonderful memories of going there with our Mama. She's spent so much time and effort encouraging us to love the outdoors, especially horticulture--taking dominion over the land for God's honor and glory. What a fun way to cultivate that passion for God's Creation!
Here are some pictures--most of them I've already posted on Facebook, but for those of you who aren't on there, I'll post them here as well. :o)

The Lord bless y'all,

The Singing Tower

Woah, dude...Don't get so close. The kids are startin' to think one of us isn't secure in our manliness...I mean I've never been called a girl before, but well, you know..."
(I hate to ruin the romantic nature of this picture, but I believe they are both males...) :oP
"...It's the way you wiggle your tail, dude. I'm telling you!"
"What?! You done pulled my tail feathers out last week!"

Ahh! Breathtaking.

For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse.
