About time for dinner! :o)

Mama and Mrs. Stevens serve Peebleshire meat pie, roasted chicken, Scotch crusty bread and lots more tasty vittles!
The lads and Lassies put on a skit (written by Abby) called "Who Stole Me Haggis??"

Scene #1

Actors take their places on stage. Ryan walks out in front of them all.  He raises his fist high in the air and shouts in a gruff voice:

R: Who stole me haggis?!!

He stomps over to Margaret, points at her and shouts:

"'Twas it you??"

Margaret: "'Twas not I, sir!"

Ryan stomps over to Emilie

"'Twas it you??"

Emilie: 'Twas not I, sir!

Next, to Daniel:

'Twas it you?

Daniel: 'Twas not I, sir!!!

Ryan swings around, faces the audience, points, and with an angry face and voice shouts:

'Twas  it YOU???

(Response from audience, hopefully they'll answer "no")

He raises his hands in frustration and says:

Then who was it???

The "'Twas Nots" answer together and point at CJ at the same time.

It 'twas HIM, sir!!!

Ryan:  (Turns sideways to face CJ who is beside him) You? 'Twas it really you??

CJ: (Arrogantly with hands on his hips) 'Twas what me?

Ryan: 'Twas it you who stole me haggis?

CJ: No, 'twas not I, sir!

Ryan: Then what is all that nasty lookin' gunk on yer face?

CJ: (Quickly wiping his face with the back of his hand) What gunk?

Ryan: The gunk that was on yer face a moment ago.
'Twas it my haggis?

CJ: There 'twas no gunk on me face!

Ryan: Oh yes there was! And it was MY haggis!!

CJ: (Drops to his knees and pleads with Ryan) Oh please sir!! It 'twas yer haggis, but it t'was the best haggis I had ever tasted in me whole life!

Ryan:  (points at CJ) This is the man that stole me haggis! Hang him from the tallest tree! Executioner!!

Grayson comes to the front (He will have been standing behind the other actors until Ryan calls "Executioner". That is his sign to come to the front) with a black mask over his face and throws a rope around CJ's neck and leads a very dejected looking CJ away off the stage.

Actors all stand in a row and bow.
Actors exit the stage as audience applauds

THE END

{Applause}
'Twas a pleasant day full of fun, games, fellowship, food, entertainment, and singing of great hymns of the Faith! The Lord is so faithful!

In His Service,

Hallelujah, praise Jehovah,
O my soul, Jehovah praise;
I will sing the glorious praises
Of my God through all my days.
Put no confidence in princes,
Nor for help on man depend;
He shall die, to dust returning,
And his purposes shall end.

Happy is the man that chooses
Israel’s God to be his aid;
He is blest whose hope of blessing
On the Lord his God is stayed.
Heaven and earth the Lord created,
Seas and all that they contain;
He delivers from oppression,
Righteousness He will maintain.

Food He daily gives the hungry,
Sets the mourning prisoner free,
Raises those bowed down with anguish,
Makes the sightless eyes to see.
Well Jehovah loves the righteous,
And the stranger He befriends,
Helps the fatherless and the widow,
Judgment on the wicked sends.

Hallelujah, praise Jehovah,
O my soul, Jehovah praise;
I will sing the glorious praises
Of my God through all my days.
Over all God reigns forever,
Through all ages He is King;
Unto Him, thy God, O Zion,
Joyful hallelujahs sing.

That picture of the boys in their kilts is priceless and I love all the "action" shots! The picture of your sweet Mama in the kitchen looks like it was from years ago! Great job and keep the games alive :)
