Sing a Song of Seasons!

 In the other gardens
And all up the vale,
From the autumn bonfires
See the smoke trail!

Pleasant summer over
And all the summer flowers,
The red fire blazes,
The grey smoke towers.

Sing a song of seasons!
Something bright in all!
Flowers in the summer,
Fires in the fall!

Robert Lewis Stevenson

Fall has finally landed in Florida! Yay for bonfires, hayrides, pumpkin muffins and apple cider! ;)
It's not too obvious in pictures, but the weather is divine! It's been in the 70's for a couple of weeks.....I could take this year round!!
Here are a few pictures for your viewing pleasure. :) Enjoy!

My hard-workin little bros ;)

Ahh so pretty. The Lord has certainly been more good to us than we deserve.

We always love it when the Waldmans visit. :)

Greyson and Will would rather watch Roy Rogers... ;)

While Mariah and Abby make brownies....

...and I do dishes. Yay! :P

Isaac demonstrates his great talent for baseball... ;)

 Hmmm....King Haybail?

Go Cowboy Will!

Yeehaw! ;)

Ranch hand CJ will show em how it's really done.....;)

Well, you know what they say, "catch two dogies with one rope" ;)

 My Florida-foliage Fall bouquet ;)

Can't beat little people's imaginations :) Even Nate knew what was going on! He sat down in one of the "seats" and started making airplane noises before anyone even told him it was an airplane! I guess it's a boy thing, huh? ;)

With Fall comes Missouri apples from the Dischers, and that means applesauce, apple butter, apple pies and all kinds of yummy apple stuff! :)

Our re-furbished flowerbed--now an herb garden!
Our Fall garden is coming along nicely as well.

Lima beans

 Collard greens! (my fave!) ;)

One of the beds of green beans. We have three this time--hopefully it'll be enough!

Green bean blossoms are sooo pretty :)

Lovely little cukes climbing up the trellis. :)

Life will find a way!

Look what I found growing in our garden! ;)

Yay for tomaters! :)

Carrots...

Widdle onions ;)

Turnip greens!
We also have asparagus, squash, zucchini, cantaloupe, cabbage, and broccoli planted. Just no pictures! ;)
I guess that about sums it up, then! Thank y'all for stopping by and taking a little peek into our life...:)
May the Lord receive all the honor and glory for everything we do!
Happy Fall, y'all!
