Sweet Memories with Sweet Cousins!!

What do you do when your cousins come to visit???
Well, the following is what we did while the Dischers were down briefly from Missouri. We almost forgot they were ever gone.......:)

Okay, y'all--Taking a walk is really not that exciting......

Umm..... Excuse me....What do you think you are doing taking a picture of the photographer?? You know that is not allowed!!:):)

Ahhh! The most heavenly flower ever created!!

Taking in the luscious aroma......:P

Ahhh.....What a lovely walk on a lovely day, with lovely friends:D:D:D

No, there is absolutely no way the Frodge cousins can get together and NOT have a party of some sort!! This time, since most of the Dischers were down for a little bit, us girls decided to have afternoon tea!:D

Yay!!! A party!

Hmmm.....

Grandmother and Grandma Sue graced us with their presence!

Thank you, Lord for another wonderful day with wonderful friends!!! He truly has blessed us so much more than we deserve!!

Mary, what a sweet post and wonderful pictures! You are truly THE photographer, but sometimes, you have to let us get a picture of you -- you're too cute to leave unphotographed!

That tea party was a sweet day. And I think I recognized those grapefruit trees you came across on your walk!

Here Is Home

Here is home, my blessed home.
Florida is her name.
God’s Providence has brought me here,
So here I will remain.

Where God's creation sings
About the mighty power and grace
Of Jesus Christ our King.

And fill my senses to the brim
With their sweet perfume.

But how I love to dig in the sand
My numb and barefoot toes!

In wintertime I love to eat
An orange from the tree.
Such a sweet and sticky treat.
Quite a delicacy!

Of Florida's great, rich history,
And hold it near my heart.

The land on which I've tromped and played,
The Spanish settlers roam'd.
They called this place the “Land of Flowers,”
And here they made their home.

When war broke out between the States,
We proved our loyalty
To the precious Southern cause,
For God and Liberty!

Some folks call us “Florida Crackers.”
I'm proud to hold that name.
My ancestors were proud as well,
To call themselves the same.

Where life is at it's best.
Every day I thank the Lord,
For I am truly blessed!
