A.C.E. South Florida Jr. Convention

Margaret and C.J. did so well in all of the events they competed in at Jr. State! Margaret got 2nd place in her Female Solo out of 11 soloists. They both got 1st place in their Vocal Duet, "Oh How I Love Jesus."
They were even asked to do a special command performance in front of the audience at the evening rally!
Their team got 2nd place in Bible Bowl. They competed in lots of other events, but those were the highlights :)
They did very well for deciding to go at the last minute! Here are some pictures of the weekend. We big kids enjoy it as much as anyone...Our Jr. State years are over. Now we get to have all the fun ;o)

We stopped at the beach since we were so close. The men did some fishing and everyone else put their feet in the water. :)

  4. BTW - I am so proud of Margaret and CJ! They did a great job and the entire time with sweet friends and family was so enjoyable.

  7. Well, the tradition lives on! Way to go Margaret and CJ and Andrew - oh! and William too - for representing Community Christian Academy :) I am very proud of you all! And there are sweet Grand-mama and Granddaddy and the Mamas and the Daddies faithfully there making it all happen.
