  1. It's good to see that people benefited from the conference. I helped put on the conference as one of the interns, and it was some of the most enjoyable work I have done because I could see the good reception and thankfulness of those that came (plus, a main theme of the conference was work :). I hope that y’all will build on the teaching and fellowship that was there and help us to win the world to Christ, one family at a time.

  2. Beautiful pictures, Mary! Such good remembrances! It was a wonderful conference, full of solid, encouraging biblical truths. I am looking forward to getting the CDs and catching up on all the sessions I didn't get to. Thanks for a great post. (and my pictures didn't look too bad!)

  3. Oh thank you for posting all these pictures. I'm sure the conference was a blast. :-D (Hey I agree, gum is a must in life)
Y'all know the LaTorres? That's insane! When they lived down here in Albany, our families were best friends. Since they moved to South Carolina we rarely see them though. Wow, WHAT a small world! (I guess Vision Forum Conferences make it even smaller right?)
    Much love,

  4. Laney,
We met the LaTorre Family at the Father Daughter retreat several years ago through you all, remember?
Y'all and my family ate together at their cabin and we cycled together at Callaway also.

  5. Well that was a great post! It looks like you had a wonderful and edifying time in NC.

Little Nathaniel is getting such a personality. Sure wish I could be there tomorrow to watch him turn one! I loved the picture of Wills in the tree and the one with Grandmama. CJ seems so terribly comfortable at conferences doesn't he? Next thing we know he'll be up there speaking :)

You girls are so beautiful! Loved the family pic.

Can't wait to hear the CDs of the conference! (Although we're still getting through the LTC Cds!)

    Love you all,
    Aunt Beth

  9. Our family really enjoyed the conference too. I saw your family there. I talked to you for a few seconds but don't know if you remember. I can't wait to get the CD's. I'm looking forward to hearing the sessions we didn't get to sit in on.
I now have a pile of books to read that we bought there. :) Hope to see you all at a future conference.

  11. Peter--Yes! We were definitely blessed by this conference and are working on putting it all into practice. ;o)

Grandmama--Yes, ma'am! It certainly was! The best part was getting to spend the weekend with y'all. :) We'll have to borrow some of the CDs from you!

Aunt Beth--We wish y'all could have come, too--like old times. ;o) But thank the Lord for CDs, right? I know! CJ is always as cool as a cucumber wherever he is. :oP

Matthew--Wow, profound... :oP Hehe, seriously, he is a cute little stinker, ain't he? :)

Mrs Victoria--I'm afraid I don't remember your last name, but I do remember briefly speaking with you! It's great finding people who read our blog. ;o) Hopefully we will meet at another conference sometime!

    In Christ,

    Mary
